Rita Crossley’s Art

Rita is an impressionist painter based on the Sunshine Coast, British Columbia. She works primarily in acrylic and watercolour and is know for her use of colour and design. She enjoys using shapes, value and colour, a reflection of her love of nature which shows in her landscapes and flowers. She is a member of the Federation of Canadian Artists and has attended workshops with well known artists including S.F.C.A. Mike Svob, S.F.C.A. Robert Genn, and S.F.C.A. Teressa Bernard. Her work has been shown in the East Side Crawl and The Metro Town Theater in Vancouver as well as the Eric Cardinal Hall in Gibsons, B.C. She is currently painting with the Roving Artists in Gibsons, B.C. Her paintings are held in private collections and have been featured in newspapers in North America.
